Built by someone who lived the earnings week crunch.

Our story

Why we built Orbiton

Daniel Baraghoush spent years inside the investor-relations function of a listed mining company. Every quarter, the same cycle: pull last quarter's shareholder update, swap the production numbers, rework the capital allocation paragraph, argue over the tone of the guidance language, miss the first filing deadline, revise again.

The disclosure process was not hard in the way engineering is hard. It was hard because it was high-stakes and repetitive at the same time. The language your company uses with investors becomes a liability if it drifts from quarter to quarter. Every word is public record. Your IR team's job is to get the numbers right and get the tone right, consistently, under deadline pressure, every 90 days.

Orbiton was founded in 2023 to automate the high-volume, low-judgment parts of that cycle: the first draft, the recurring analyst question, the boilerplate that gets rewritten from scratch because nobody can find last quarter's version. The goal was never to replace the IR professional. The goal was to give them back the hours they were spending on work a machine can handle.

We closed a $1.5 million angel round in September 2025 from investors who have worked in and around resource-sector capital markets. We are based in Denver, Colorado. We work with IR teams at listed mining and energy companies.

How we work

What we believe about IR software

Accuracy before speed

IR disclosures are regulatory documents. A draft that is fast but wrong is worse than no draft at all. Orbiton slows down to check voice match and regulatory format before it delivers output, every time.

The company's voice, not ours

Orbiton fades into the background. The output should be indistinguishable from something the IR team wrote. If an investor reads your disclosure and notices the AI, we have failed.

Built for IR professionals, not AI enthusiasts

No AI theater. No dashboards showing you how many tokens we processed. The measure of success is time saved and compliance maintained, not features shipped.
